Greetings and Students’ Voice

We welcome all students with a strong desire to learn.

Executive Director
NAKATA Shunichi

We would like to teach students not only Japanese language but we also hope to teach  Japanese customs as well. Students will be immersed in Japanese culture and lifestyle, learn to live and respect the people and environment around them. We regard this as a very important aspect of studying Japanese in Japan. We believe that to truly understand the Japanese language it is important to experience  Japanese culture and its customs firsthand.

We stress the importance of aiding students in completion of their Japanese language course, and assisting them in their decision to further their education or in their search for employment.  Therefore, we would like those students who are ready and eager to start studying the Japanese language to come and study with us. We hope you are ready to face the exciting challenges of a new environment.

Number of students and the countries where they come from : 994 students from 36 countries.

Students’ Voice

Jillian Burgess (England)

I have been studying at this school for 9 months. Now, we don’t just study Japanese at this school, there are a variety of different events, especially fond memories which include taking part in flower arrangement and calligraphy, for the first time. Making rice cakes and the school excursions were also very enjoyable. I was able to learn about Japanese culture through various school events. After returning to England I would like to use these experiences to continue joining events that relates to Japan.

 Lin Yi (China)

I entered this school merely 3 months ago and yet I already feel that my Japanese level is gradually improving. This is a good school for those students who have a motivation to study. Outside of classes, the teachers kindly answer questions and for those students who wish to do extra homework, (the teachers have always responded to their request.) This is a school, which has teachers who help the students who require more individual attention.

Ellen Naoko Tengan (U.S.A. Hawaii)

I am a second generation Okinawan from U.S.A.., and ever since I was very young, I have been interested in Okinawa and the Japanese language. After coming here and actually studying the language and immersing myself in the culture has deepened my interest. I think that learning the Japanese language is very difficult, but I am slowly improving, thanks to this school. I sincerely recommend this school to people who wish to study Japanese on this beautiful Okinawa Island.
